Presenter Qualifications:
Matthew J. Fien, DDS earned his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2006 and completed his specialty training in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Fien maintains a private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, focused on regenerative and implant dentistry. An active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration, he has published extensively in leading dental journals and remains involved in ongoing clinical research. Since 2017, Dr. Fien has co-developed and taught hands-on courses in guided bone regeneration and soft tissue management. He also lectures at Nova Southeastern University and postgraduate dental programs throughout the U.S. and internationally, and serves as a consultant and key opinion leader for several industry-leading dental companies.
David Wong, DDS is a board-certified Periodontist in private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Wong received his undergraduate education and dental training at the University of Oklahoma. He then went on to complete a three year residency in periodontics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology as well as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologiests. He is a published author in several peer-reviewed dental journals but has also reached a mainstream audience in media such as Fox News and the Wall Street Journal.
