The Road to Restoration: Navigating Treatment for the Fully Edentulous Patient

Christopher Marchack, DDS

June 2024 Course - Expires Wednesday, June 30th, 2027

Web Only

Abstract

The development and evolution of dental implants has had a major impact for the fully edentulous patient. Treatment planning the completely edentulous patient requires a thorough examination and understanding of multiple factors, including intra oral, extra oral, and radiographic data. Once these are understood, treatment options for edentulous patients can be developed. Options include type of restoration, materials, technique of implant placement, advances in implant design and surfaces, and early or immediate loading. Successful treatment replaces the patient’s loss of function while also considering comfort and esthetics. This webinar describes and discusses fully edentulous treatment options, techniques, and materials used in conjunction with delayed implant loading and immediate loading.
