Super OsseoIntegration: The Photofunctionalization Effect

J. Paul Fuentes, DDS, DABP

March 2022 Course - Expires Monday, March 31st, 2025

Web Only

Abstract

Photofunctionalization can accelerate and enhance osseointegration of dental implants. Implants age over time and aged implants compromise osseous integration. By reversing the biological age of the implant surface, clinicians have an opportunity to maximize implant success and decrease the occurrence of Peri-Implantitis.
